One of the most well-known carnivorous plants are the Venus Fly Traps (Dionaea Muscipula) are native to the coastal plans of North Carolina, and are cold hardy plants.
The produce medium size traps and prefer to be outdoors in a natural environment but can also be kept indoors on a bright windowsill.
Adult plants will grow to 6 inches tall with proper watering, sunlight for at least 6 hours per day and avoiding temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

We are happy to have three different types of Nepenthes Pitcher Plants with more growing and coming soon.
Pitcher Plants have modified leaves called pitfall traps. They emit a sweet odor that attracts bugs and once they are drawn into the pitcher, they cannot escape!
Nepenthes pitcher plants come in different variations and colors and often look best in a hanging basket where the pitchers can cascade down showing off their unique beauty.

The Nepenthes Lady Luck is an easy to grow, tropical pitcher plant native to Malaysia.
A vigorous grower, with a wide temperature tolerance, the Lady Luck will produce many basal offshoots and its’ pitchers are typically a blood red color.

The Nepenthes Ventricosa (also pictured above) produces multiple red hourglass shaped pitchers with red scalloped peristomes.
Native to the Philippines, these gorgeous pitcher plants are available in 6” Baskets or 2” Pots, and are one of the easiest to grow carnivorous plants.

Nepenthes Sanguinea is another beautiful carnivorous plant with pitchers ranging in color from orange to blood red and is available in a 6 inch basket or a 2 inch pot.
Native to Malaysia and Thailand, N. Sanguinea is a great choice for beginners and will be well hardened off for growing outside in warmer climates or indoors on a bright windowsill.
